Last week, the 86-meter Benetti superyacht Kingdom 5KR collided at a dock in Bizerte, resulting in significant damage. Photos shared on social media show that the yacht was notably affected, and preliminary investigations suggest the accident may have been caused by the captain losing control.

At the time of the incident, the captain of Kingdom 5KR was attempting to dock the vessel, and relevant authorities are currently investigating to clarify the specific causes. Reports indicate that mechanical failure or communication issues may have contributed to the accident.

As of now, the extent of the damage to Kingdom 5KR is unclear, and there have been no reports of serious personal injuries or structural problems.

Originally named Nabila, Kingdom 5KR was commissioned by Saudi billionaire and arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi. Over the decades since its delivery, the yacht has changed hands multiple times, including ownership by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who renamed it Trump Princess. The yacht also served as the base for Bond villain Maximillian Largo in Sean Connery's film Never Say Never Again.

The exterior design of Kingdom 5KR was crafted by Jon Bannenberg, featuring unique air vents and slanted windows. The yacht's original interior design was completed by Luigi Sturchio, showcasing luxurious decor, including fur bed linens and a crystal-adorned piano. Additionally, the yacht is equipped with a three-person barbershop and a hospital.

After several ownership changes, the yacht was purchased by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal in 1991 and renamed Kingdom 5KR to reflect his company, lucky number, and children's initials. Its notable features include a spa, gym, swimming pool with water jets, and a helipad.

In terms of performance, Kingdom 5KR is powered by twin Nohab diesel engines, with a cruising speed of 17 knots and a top speed of 20 knots.
