British luxury yacht builder Sunseeker has announced the sale of the first unit of its new Sunseeker 134 during boot Düsseldorf 2026, marking a significant milestone for the shipyard’s renewed Superyacht Range. The 40.5-metre model has been purchased by an American owner, with delivery scheduled for 2027.
First unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2025, the Sunseeker 134 represents a bold evolution in the brand’s superyacht portfolio. According to chief technical officer Ewen Foster, the project has focused on elevating the design visually, technically and experientially. The yacht features elongated exterior lines, distinctive reflective hull window graphics and a redesigned forward glazing arrangement with reverse-angle windows, giving the model a contemporary and commanding presence on the water.
Outdoor living is a defining feature of the new 134. The aft cockpit, upper deck and flybridge offer flexible, customisable layouts, with options including a spa tub, extended hardtop and flybridge helm station. At water level, a significantly extended beach club and swim platform enhance the yacht’s social spaces and connection to the sea.
Interiors have been developed in collaboration with Design Unlimited, offering full customisation in materials and finishes. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing brings natural light into warm, neutral-toned spaces. Accommodation includes a forward main-deck master suite and five guest cabins for up to 10 guests, with quarters for a crew of nine.
Powered by twin MTU engines, the Sunseeker 134 delivers top speeds of up to 20 knots and a range exceeding 1,200 nautical miles at 10 knots. With a 7.9-metre beam and a draught of 2.4 metres, the model combines performance with long-range cruising capability.
The sale underscores continued confidence in Sunseeker’s superyacht strategy as the British builder strengthens its position in the global 40-metre segment.
