X-Yachts Unveils Updated X4⁶ MkII Performance Cruiser

X-Yachts has unveiled the X4⁶ MkII, the latest evolution in its X-Range, designed to enhance both sailing performance and onboard comfort. Priced from €579,000 (excluding VAT), this updated model builds on the success of the original X4.6 with targeted refinements for modern cruisers.

A standout feature of the MkII is the new German sheeting mainsheet system, which improves control of the mainsail traveller while reducing line clutter in the cockpit—making shorthanded sailing safer and more efficient. The cockpit itself has been redesigned with extended benches, longer coamings, and a refined pedestal layout, creating a more comfortable and ergonomic space for helmsmen and guests.

Updated X4⁶ MkII Performance Cruiser

The signature S-bow, carried over from the latest Pure X models, enhances the yacht’s aesthetic and allows the installation of larger anchors without disrupting the clean deck layout. The widened aft cockpit opening further improves access and circulation on board, while below deck improvements, including larger hull windows and optimized storage, increase light and space in the saloon and cabins.

X-Yachts CEO Kræn B. Nielsen emphasizes that the MkII represents thoughtful evolution, with small but significant design improvements enhancing the overall sailing experience. From technical upgrades to modern comfort, the X4⁶ MkII continues the Pure X philosophy of combining speed, handling, and luxury living, making it an ideal choice for performance-oriented sailors seeking both adventure and style.
