Lagoon has completed a full shipyard refit of its flagship Lagoon 620, delivering a premium cruising catamaran that combines proven design with modern technology and a renewed focus on sustainability. Finalised in 2025, the Lagoon 620 NEO offers owners the rare opportunity to acquire a fully upgraded luxury yacht at a significantly lower cost than a new build.
Instead of constructing a new vessel and increasing its carbon footprint, Lagoon’s NEO programme extends the life of its most successful models through comprehensive shipyard-led refits. All major equipment on the Lagoon 620 NEO has been replaced, with removed components recycled, marking a more responsible approach to yacht ownership.
With 170 units sold, the Lagoon 620 remains the most successful catamaran over 60 feet ever built. Its appeal lies in a layout that continues to set standards: a vast flybridge, an expansive cockpit, a bright saloon, and direct access to the owner’s cabin from the aft cockpit. A wide hydraulic gangway further modernises the deck layout, bringing it closer to Lagoon’s latest models.
The 2025 refit includes new Yanmar engines, a new Onan generator, and a complete new Raymarine electronics suite. Energy and autonomy have been upgraded with lithium batteries, solar panels, a new inverter, two watermakers and a UV water disinfection system. Comfort has also been enhanced with a new low-consumption air-conditioning system, new Miele galley appliances, upgraded entertainment systems in every cabin, and fully renewed interior and exterior upholstery, flooring and ceilings.
New Hydranet sails, electric furlers, bow thruster, windlass, Awlgrip hull paint, iroko deck and a hydraulic tender lift platform complete the transformation. Inspected throughout by Lagoon’s technical teams and delivered with a two-year warranty, the Lagoon 620 NEO stands as a compelling, future-ready alternative to a new luxury catamaran.
