Bavaria Yachts has officially returned to the Irish market, appointing Malahide Boat Sales as its exclusive dealer in Ireland. The move marks a significant new chapter for Irish sailors and powerboaters, restoring direct local access to one of Europe’s most established yacht brands.
As part of the partnership, Malahide Marina becomes Bavaria Yachts’ official home port in Ireland, providing a dedicated base for yacht viewings, handovers and on-water demonstrations. The appointment reflects renewed confidence in the Irish boating market and ensures owners benefit from professional local support backed by German yacht-building expertise.

“Having Bavaria back in Ireland through a trusted partner like Malahide Boat Sales is a strong vote of confidence in the market,” said Gregor McGuckin, General Manager of Malahide Marina, speaking to Afloat.ie.
Irish buyers now have access to Bavaria’s full current model range, including C-Line and Cruiser Line sailing yachts, alongside the S-Line, SR-Line and R-Line motor yachts. Designed for Northern European conditions, Bavaria yachts are known for their solid construction, practical layouts and confidence-inspiring performance, making them well suited to Ireland’s coastal waters.

One of the first new arrivals will be the Bavaria C38, scheduled to reach Malahide Boat Yard in February 2026. Designed by Cossutti Yacht Design, the C38 combines strong sailing performance with impressive interior volume and versatility, suitable for family cruising, offshore passages or club racing. It will be the first new Bavaria sailing yacht available in Ireland in over 15 years.
All Bavaria yachts are built to Category A (Ocean) certification, underlining their offshore capability. With local access now firmly re-established, Bavaria Yachts’ return offers Irish boaters a compelling combination of global quality, modern design and trusted local support.
