Kitzbühel, February 2, 2026 – Ferretti Group scored a double victory at the BOAT International Design and Innovation Awards 2026, with wallywind110 and Ferretti Yachts 800 receiving top honours for design excellence. The awards ceremony was held on February 1 in Kitzbühel, Austria.
The 33.42-metre wallywind110 won in the Outstanding Exterior Design – Sailing Yachts category, earning praise for its refined teak craftsmanship, clean lines and unmistakable Wally DNA. The jury highlighted the yacht’s innovative 60-square-metre cockpit, free of traditional side decks and designed for multiple configurations while sailing or at anchor. Fully removable deck furniture, convertible tables and a flush deck allow the yacht to transition seamlessly from cruiser to racer.

Launched in 2025, wallywind110 features a carbon fibre hull and superstructure combined with a teak deck, balancing lightweight performance with elegant aesthetics. The exterior and interior were designed in collaboration with Studio Santa Maria Magnolfi, with naval architecture by Judel/Vrolijk & Co. Accommodation includes four staterooms for up to nine guests, served by a crew of five, along with generous outdoor living areas such as Wally’s signature sea terrace.
Meanwhile, Ferretti Yachts 800 claimed the Best New Series award, which recognises outstanding design in customisable production yachts. The jury praised the yacht’s well-considered layout, spacious galley, ease of use and extensive customisation options.
Developed by the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, Ferretti Yachts 800 measures 24.47 metres in length with a 5.91-metre beam and is designed to comply with mooring regulations across multiple markets. Exterior styling is by Filippo Salvetti, with interiors by Ideaeitalia.
These dual awards reinforce Ferretti Group’s leadership across both high-performance sailing yachts and refined motor yacht series.
