Boot Düsseldorf 2026: Pershing Reveals New GTX90 Sports Yacht

Pershing has officially unveiled the new GTX90 at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, positioning it as the final missing link in the brand’s GTX sports yacht range. The announcement was made during a press conference led by Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi and Chief Commercial Officer Giordano Pellacani, highlighting the strategic importance of the model within Pershing’s evolving portfolio.

The first GTX90 is already under construction in Italy, with launch scheduled for autumn 2026. If the build timeline remains on track, the yacht is expected to make its public debut later this year, most likely at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.

First details from Düsseldorf

Pershing released only limited confirmed information at the show, with no official technical specifications disclosed. However, a short video presentation and brand commentary offered a clear indication of the yacht’s intended direction.

According to Pershing, the GTX90 continues the core philosophy established by the GTX116 and GTX80, combining high speed with increased usable volume and a more open, lifestyle-driven layout than the brand’s traditional X Generation performance models. Propulsion is expected to follow the GTX116 formula, with MAN engines paired with waterjets, reinforcing Pershing’s focus on performance, agility and shallow-draft capability.

Despite its larger interior volume and near full-beam layout, Pershing emphasised that speed remains central to the GTX90 concept. The yacht is positioned to deliver the same sense of pace and driver engagement associated with the brand, rather than adopting a slower cruising profile.

Layout highlights and design

Both exterior and interior design for the GTX90 are by Vallicelli Design, continuing the established design partnership across the GTX range.

Confirmed layout highlights include:

  • An expansive aft cockpit of around 37 square metres
  • Fold-down side terraces to extend deck space at anchor
  • Accommodation for eight guests in four en-suite cabins
  • A dedicated crew area for up to four, including crew mess and galley

Construction is underway at Pershing’s Mondolfo shipyard, with the hull and superstructure already in build. The yacht is expected to be in the water by summer 2026, ahead of its formal launch later in the year.

Position within the GTX range

The GTX90 sits squarely between the 24m GTX80 and the 35m flagship GTX116, bridging the gap between owner-focused usability and full-scale sports yacht performance. It represents a step up in scale and propulsion compared to the GTX80, while offering a more compact and potentially owner-driven alternative to the GTX116.

Further details are expected closer to launch, with Cannes 2026 likely to provide the first full public look at Pershing’s new 27-metre GTX.
