The hull of the 82.5-metre superyacht Feadship Project 829 has been sighted outside the build shed for the first time at the Casco & Sectiebouw Rotterdam (CSR) facility in the Netherlands, marking a significant milestone as the project advances toward its next construction phase.
Commissioned by Dutch builder Feadship, Project 829 began construction in 2023 and remains largely under wraps. The steel hull, paired with an aluminium superstructure, was completed at CSR before preparation for transport to Kaag, where final assembly and outfitting will take place. Delivery is anticipated in 2027.
Naval architecture has been developed by De Voogt Naval Architects, continuing Feadship’s in-house engineering tradition, while exterior design and general arrangement are credited to British studio Harrison Eidsgaard, known for its contemporary and sculptural approach to large yacht styling.
Although technical specifications remain undisclosed, Project 829 is expected to exceed 2,400 gross tons, positioning her among the upper ranks of Feadship’s modern fleet. In terms of scale, she will sit between the 83.5-metre Savannah (2015) and the 87.8-metre Fountainhead (2011), underscoring her substantial internal volume and long-range cruising capability.
The emergence of the hull offers the first tangible glimpse of what is set to become one of the Dutch yard’s most significant deliveries in the coming years. With multiple large-scale projects currently underway—including the 101.2-metre Project 1014—Feadship continues to demonstrate strong momentum in the 80-metre-plus custom superyacht sector.
