Heesen's 57m Project Evita Reaches Hull Mating Milestone

Dutch shipbuilder Heesen Yachts has announced that the hull and superstructure of its 56.7-metre Project Evita have been successfully joined, marking a major construction milestone. The project now progresses into the outfitting phase, with delivery scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.

Project Evita is the second hull in Heesen’s new class of high-speed aluminium superyachts and represents the largest yacht ever built on speculation by the Dutch yard. The milestone reflects strong confidence in market demand for performance-driven, semi-custom yachts in the 55–60 metre category.

The exterior design is penned by Omega Architects, while the interior layout and styling come from British studio Harrison Eidsgaard—the same team behind sistership Santosha. The yacht features Heesen’s advanced Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), delivering a top speed of 21 knots while maintaining impressive efficiency across cruising speeds.

With a shallow draft of just 2.3 metres, Project Evita is positioned as one of the largest yachts capable of accessing shallow-water cruising grounds such as the Bahamas. At the same time, she offers a transatlantic range of 3,900 nautical miles at 13 knots, combining global cruising capability with regional flexibility.

Inside, the yacht boasts a generous 780GT volume and nearly 400 square metres of interior living space. The design blends rich woods with a nautical cream and blue colour palette, creating a refined yet contemporary atmosphere. Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a 60-square-metre full-beam master suite located forward on the main deck. Crew quarters provide space for 13.

Project Evita is compliant with IMO Tier III emissions standards, ensuring environmental responsibility and access to regulated waters.

With six yachts currently under construction, Heesen continues to demonstrate momentum in the high-performance aluminium segment, and Project Evita stands as a flagship example of the yard’s evolving “new class” platform.
