Italian yacht builder Wally Yachts has unveiled the new wallypower50X, a 15-metre high-performance day boat that expands the brand’s distinctive range of angular, design-led motor yachts. The model made its global debut at the Miami International Boat Show, reinforcing Wally’s focus on combining advanced engineering with bold contemporary styling.

Powered by four outboard engines, the wallypower50X offers impressive performance credentials. The standard configuration features four Mercury Verado V10 engines producing 425hp each, delivering a top speed of around 50 knots and a cruising speed of approximately 34 knots. Owners seeking additional performance can opt for four Mercury Racing V8 engines rated at 500hp, increasing maximum speed to around 54 knots with a cruising speed of 36 knots.
The exterior design reflects Wally’s minimalist and futuristic aesthetic. A vertical bow, sharp hull lines and expansive dark glass surfaces give the yacht a distinctive dart-like profile. Signature “magic portholes” are integrated into the hull design to illuminate the interior without disrupting the sleek lines, while a concealed anchoring system further reinforces the brand’s clean, uncluttered look.

The open deck layout is designed for both relaxation and socialising. Fold-down transom platforms expand the aft area by more than five square metres when the yacht is at anchor, creating additional space for guests. Sunpads are located at both the stern and the bow, while the main deck also features a covered dining area that can easily transform into a lounge.
Below deck, the wallypower50X offers a comfortable interior with a double cabin, seating area, compact galley and a bathroom with a separate shower. The flexible layout allows the yacht to function as a day cruiser, a weekend boat or even as a luxury tender for a larger superyacht.
Founded in Monaco in 1994, Wally is now part of the Ferretti Group and continues to develop innovative sailing and motor yachts that push the boundaries of design and performance.
