Chris-Craft Launch 28

Chris-Craft Boats was founded in 1883 by Christopher Columbus Smith and is based in Michigan. An early build of elegant wooden skiffs inspired Carlo Riva to build a similar boat in Italy. The interior of the Chris-Craft Launch 28 is a completely open dayboat with a practical small bathroom compartment under the helm; the exterior bow rider layout with walk-through windshield makes the most of the space. The yacht has a long, low look, with a beautifully light hull in cream and glossy navy, and a curved stainless steel windshield frame in vintage Corvette style.

Up close, Heritage Trim upgrades add teak accents to the foredeck and bathing platform, cream-colored high-quality upholstery with dark piping, and a dashboard that resembles a '60 generation sports car, with polished wood accents dotted around. In terms of performance, the yacht is powered by a 5.3-liter, 350-horsepower Volvo Penta V8-CE 5.3L engine and has a top speed of just under 40 knots. In terms of seaworthiness, the yacht was tested on the Solent, and the wide hull, although not as sharp as the Cormate, feels solid on the road and is particularly valuable because of the bow rider design.

Riva Virtus 63

Italian builder Riva has continued its tradition of building beautiful boats, with the launch of the Riva Aquarama in 1962, arguably the coolest yacht ever built. 2001 saw the acquisition of Riva by the Faraday Group and the launch of the Aquariva tribute primer, which was followed by the Rivarama 44, the Rivale 52 and the Virtus 63. Virtus 63.

The interior of the Riva Virtus 63 is a Mediterranean-style open sports boat, over 60 feet long, with great lower deck accommodations with a saloon, hidden galley, bow owner's cabin, aft petite stateroom and VIP stateroom. The focus of the exterior of the yacht is on the living space on deck with aft sun tanning sunbeds and dinghy storage, with sleek exterior lines and components that allow for flexible stowage.

In terms of performance, only twin MAN V12 1360CR shaft-driven diesels are offered, with a top speed of about 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots. In terms of seaworthiness, the 63-footers hull combines a shaft drive with a rudder, making it a GT-type vessel suitable for long-distance cruising, with easy and quick access to Ibiza from Palma.

Fairline F Line 33

A few years ago, the UK's three biggest power yacht builders were planning almost simultaneously to create brand-enhancing “superyachts” Princess launched the R35 with excellent turning ability thanks to its hydrofoils, and Sunseeker's Hawk 38 reached 70 mph without a cabin, and the F//Line 33 from Fairline is not only cool, but practical as well.

The interior of this yacht for sale, in addition to the usual converted dinette below the foredeck, has a cabin with a double bed below the cockpit for a family of four, except that there are no windows on the lower deck. The exterior of the yacht, designed by Alberto Mancini, has a modern look with the removal of the tent-like canopies, a flat foredeck with no radar arches and a variety of cockpit layouts. In terms of performance, twin 240hp petrol engines are standard, with the option of upgrading to twin 430hp petrol or twin 220hp diesels, but the different engine configurations correspond to different speeds and fuel costs. The Fairline F Line 33's deep V hull is excellent for sailing and turning.

Dale Classic 37

Dale Motor Yachts, based in Neyland, is a prime example of a niche boat builder that does not compete head-to-head with mainstream builders, but instead focuses on building attractive, high-quality, semi-custom motor yachts that satisfy its customers' need for great-looking and sea-worthy sailing. The interior of the Dale Classic 37 for sale is a little more comfortable than many 37-footers due to the combination of a narrower beam, low profile and shaft-driven engines that place it further forward in the hull than an IPS or V-drive. The interior of the Dale Classic 37 for sale has a combination of narrower beam, low profile and shaft-driven engines that place it further forward in the hull than an IPS or V-drive, and smaller than many 37-footers, but it has an excellent layout of owner's cabin space in the bow, with two staterooms sharing a port bath, and a full salon area with an enlarged dinette area to port and a fully equipped galley to starboard.

The exterior design of the yacht is glorious, with a high, wide, flat foredeck connected to the low side decks by several steps, a flat-topped cockpit roof for shelter and shade, and handcrafted woodwork inside and out that adds much to the beauty. In terms of performance, the yacht's twin Yanmar 6LY 5.8-liter diesels each burn 440 hp in straight-shaft drive and can reach a cruising speed of 30 knots. In terms of seaworthiness, the semi-skidding hull designed by Arthur Mursell of TT Design prioritizes a smooth ride and safe seakeeping, allowing for a confident, bump-free voyage through the oceans.
