Nautor Swan Sponsors Rolex China Sea Race 2026

Finnish sailing yacht builder Nautor Swan has been named an Official Event Partner of the 2026 edition of the Rolex China Sea Race, marking a key step in the brand’s strategy to strengthen its presence across the Asia-Pacific sailing market.

Organised by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and sanctioned by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, the offshore race is one of Asia’s most established sailing competitions. The 565-nautical-mile course runs from Hong Kong to Subic Bay in the Philippines and has attracted international competitors since its founding in 1962. The 2026 edition will begin on March 4, with the prizegiving ceremony held in Subic Bay on March 8 and the official awards presentation in Hong Kong on March 18.

The partnership is being led regionally by Sanlorenzo Asia Pacific, which represents Nautor Swan in the region. According to the company, the collaboration reflects a broader effort to engage with the growing sailing community in Asia while positioning the Swan brand alongside one of the region’s defining offshore races.

Daniele Lucà, CEO of Sanlorenzo Asia Pacific and Simpson Marine, described the partnership as a natural fit for Swan owners, noting that the race’s demanding offshore conditions highlight the performance and seaworthiness that have long defined Swan yachts.

Several Swan yachts are expected to compete in the fleet, including the Swan 45 Mazu and Swan 56 Parnassus. As part of the new partnership, a dedicated award will also be introduced to recognise the top-performing Swan yacht in the race.

The collaboration comes during a milestone year for Nautor Swan, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026. Through its global racing initiatives, including the Rolex Swan Cup, the builder continues to strengthen its connection with competitive sailing while expanding its community of owners worldwide.
