The Italian Navy’s new Major Hydro-Oceanographic Ship (N.I.O.M.) Quirinale was officially launched today at Fincantieri’s integrated shipyard in Riva Trigoso, marking a significant step forward in Italy’s maritime research and security capabilities.
At the end of December 2025, Fincantieri’s Muggiano shipyard in Italy officially handed over the KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321, the second multi-role combat ship (PPA), to the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL). This follows the earlier commissioning of its sister ship, KRI Brawijaya-320, completing the two-vessel program built by Fincantieri.
