The construction of Sanya Clearwater Bay Marina started in 2011 and was officially completed and put into use in 2015. As an important plan for the construction of Lingshui Clearwater Bay International Yacht Town, the project has a total investment of more than 500 million yuan, built in the core area of 12 kilometres of purely beautiful coastline, and has 780 international standard berths in a professional marina constructed to international high standards. It has built 299 berths, which can dock 200-foot superyachts, and is equipped with Mediterranean restaurant, multi-functional banquet hall, conference centre, sea-viewing lounge, 360° aerial viewing platform, children's park and other high-end supporting facilities.
Since its completion, Clearwater Bay Marina has successfully held two yacht fairs and five ‘Yachting World’ events, and has rich experience in large-scale yacht exhibitions and events.
There are also many star hotels in the Clearwater Bay scenic area, such as JW Marriott Hotel, Raffles Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Intercontinental Holiday Inn, Horatio Court Hotel and other international five-star to seven-star hotels, and the scenic area also has two international standard 18-hole golf courses, an international bilingual school, a marine art centre, a large tropical water plant, four sewage treatment plants and comprehensive commercial facilities.
Sanya Clearwater Bay Marina is located in Clearwater Bay China's 4A-level tourist attraction, with world-quality geography, climate, waters and nearly 12 kilometres of golden coastline. The soft and gentle sandy beach of Qingshui Bay is known as one of the world's three ‘singing beaches’. Its waters are wide, slow and clean, with a depth of only 2 metres in 200 metres of water. Its seawater meets China's first-class marine water quality standards, which is suitable for playing sea sports all year round.
