To date, Fairline has more than a dozen boat building workshops, each building 11 models across its 3 ranges, making it the UK's leading luxury yacht builder. British yachts are in fact no less impressive than Italian yachts in terms of design and manufacturing standards. The brand's yachts are not only second to none in the UK yacht market, but also hold a significant position in the world yacht market.

Since 2016, the Fairline Yachts (Fairline) brand has been working with Dutch company Vripack, including its largest models, the Targa65 and Squadron68. the shipyard and Slovenian company J & J Design have collaborated on the F//Line33 model, which is the shipyard's fastest yacht to date, travelling at 48 knots with a 430bhp Volvo PentaV8 twin stern drives. Selecting Jairline & J's deep-V hull design based on the size of the yacht, the shipyard follows rules set by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Fairline Yachts (UK) Brand History

In 1963, Jack Newington acquired a disused sand and gravel quarry and Fairline was given a ‘home’.

In 1967, the first Fairline yacht was built, a 19ft inland waterway yacht, already using the latest fibreglass boat building techniques of the time.

In 1971, Fairlane's sales network was expanded overseas to allow for a smooth expansion of the sales market.

In 1980, Fairlane Yachts rapidly developed into a high-speed cruising yacht.

In 2002, Fairlane completed the construction of its 10,000,000th yacht.
